Hello,
Here is a description of our run and I will have someone stop by to bring you an official map as well as I am not sure of the
technology to be able to send it to you through the computer.
First of all it is a 5K.
We start very near Shelter number six in City Park.
Make a loop along the sidewalk, around the baseball fields.
Head along the river going towards the Normandy neighborhood.
Exit the park and take a right onto Normandy Drive.
Follow Normandy Drive as it curves left.
Turn left onto Manor Drive and head back into the park.
Follow the sidewalk along the river (now going the opposite way as before, heading towards the start.)
Continue past shelter number six and end just a bit past the Shakespeare Theatre ( still across the street from it though.)
to finish.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you very much for your time,
Sophie Neems

No issues with Transit.
It did not appear that they will be utilizing the streets so parking should not be affected.

Should be a minimal-impact route on City and neighborhood operations. Participants should be reminded to be
courteous to others using trails and sidewalks, as they will remain open to the public. I can’t tell if they are to be in the
streets on Normandy and Manor, but if they are, runners should stay as far to the right as possible and be aware of
neighborhood traffic. The route should be clearly marked where the participants are to make turns. I don’t think there
will be any demolitions going on, but organizers should scope the route before the event to make sure there are no
obstructions.
Important to be a little more explicit in the approval for this one as far as general rules – these are high school students
organizing the event.

PD has no issues with this event. Traffic is such that adult volunteers can handle any street crossings. John covers any
other issue below. Jim
