Adam – I just need to know if she wants to reserve a park shelter. Last year they reserved #6 at City
Park.
Thanks,
Tammy

No issues with Parking Operations.
Several transit routes from Cambus, Coralville and Iowa City utilize Iowa Avenue and Madison Street. Will participants
be in the road way? If so we will need to detour that area for the duration of the event.

Adam – Assuming they plan to use sidewalks/trails only, I think the applicant is correct in stating that they should only
need PD assistance with crossing Park Road. Otherwise the applicant should remind participants to be respectful of
other non-participants using the trail/sidewalk system.
Also the applicant should contact the U of I regarding use of the trail adjacent to Hancher Auditorium.

The FD supports the plan. Participants must yield to emergency vehicles if requested.

PD Approves with one officer on reimbursed overtime- minimum of 2 hours. They will need to contact the Day Watch
commander (Lt. bill Campbell) to coordinate the Officer.
