We did not have any problems with this event last year. Could I get a clarification on the specific times that the event
will be open each day? (what time will they end on Friday, and start up on Saturday?) Please ask that they contact me
at the Police Department as soon as possible to discuss that level of Police assistance will be needed. Call-back of
officers on overtime may be necessary with the expense charged to your organization.

Adam – Regulation barricades and signage should be used for street closures; standard notice to affected
properties. Also – last year I believe we requested that the applicant erect some form of fencing along Market Street to
guide participants to the intersections (to be assisted by PD), rather than crossing mid-block. I’m not sure if this
occurred or worked last year, but It may be worth checking with the applicant or PD.
