HomeMy WebLinkAboutMillennium proposalE MILLENNIUM "MILLENNIUM" The Vision Millennium will be Iowa City's newest "Class N' addition to the vibrant downtown landscape. It will meet the demands of the "Millennials": the generation born between the years 1980 and 2000 which require high quality living, amenities, and a walkable living environment. Anchoring Millennium will be a 20,000 SIF office space primarily catered to a co -working environment, including desks and suites rentable monthly, shared conference rooms, and a high level of common area amenities including coffee lounges and high quality furniture and architecture. This space will serve Iowa City's already thriving entrepreneurial startup scene as well as maturing companies. Millennium will also include 190 "Class A" residential rental units. Millennials desire space that is engaging, highly amenitized, modern, and active. Millennium will offer exactly that, with finishes unrivaled in any apartment community in Iowa City, a 1,500 square foot fitness center, a 12,000 square foot courtyard and outdoor kitchen, hot tubs, and fire pits, as well as a clubhouse that rivals any Iowa City nightlife (though supervised).
