FEES FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICES (Rev. 03/08)
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Fees are based on actual costs, as outlined in Summary of Costs (page 2).
Response Cost Recovery:
1. Hazardous Materials Incidents and Transportation-related Spills
• If we are involved for approximately one hour, or
If we use more than $50.00 worth of materials, or
If our equipment/replacement/repair/cleaning costs add up to more than $50, or
If the response requires us to call back off-duty personnel.
• Materials will be billed at current replacement cost and shipping.
• Damaged equipment will be billed at current replacement cost and shipping.
• Equipment repair and/or cleaning will be billed at parts and labor.

FALSE ALARM FEES
The following excessive false alarm fee schedule is established:
Two (2) false alarms in a fiscal year – no charge.
Third and subsequent false alarms in a fiscal year – fee based on each quarter hour, as outlined below:
False Alarm Response – Full Structure Response $233.75/quarter hour
Fee assessed on a per quarter hour rate:
Full Structure Response Fee ($935/hour) divided by 0.25 hour = $233.75/quarter hour
False Alarm Response – Single Company Response $57.75/quarter hour
Fee assessed on a per quarter hour rate:
1 Engine Company ($231/hour) divided by 0.25 hour = $57.75/quarter hour
HAZ-MAT INCIDENTS AND TRANSPORTATION-RELATED SPILL RESPONSE FEES
The following hazardous materials incidents and transportation-related spill response fee schedule is
established:
Response unit, personnel, and equipment needs vary per incident.
Response unit and personnel fees will be assessed per quarterly hour rate.
Materials and equipment fees will be assessed, as outlined under General Guidelines above.
CONFINED SPACE/SPECIALTY RESCUE FEES
The following confined space/specialty rescue fee schedule is established:
Full Response $304.50/quarter hour
Fee assessed on a per quarter hour rate:
Full Response Fee ($1,218/hour) divided by 0.25 hour = $304.50/quarter hour
Annual Agreement $300.00/year
FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU REINSPECTION FEES
Single Company $75.00/one-third hour
Fee assessed on a per one-third hour rate:
Reinspection fee ($231/hour) divided by 3 = $77.00
No charge for initial reinspection. Fee applies to second and each subsequent reinspection.

5. Air Monitoring $50.00/incident
6. Staff Car $100.00/hour
Full Structure Response $935.00/hour
1. 2 Engine Companies (includes 2 Firefighters, 1 Officer on each) $231.00/hour/each company
2. 1 Truck Company (includes 2 Firefighters, 1 Officer) $333.00/hour
3. 1 Command Vehicle (includes 1 Battalion Chief) $140.00/hour
