ther than 250 feet apart. Speed humps are not located directly in front of driveways or storm drains or within
50 feet of an intersection. Speed humps are located adjacent to property lines when possible.
Cautionary signs mark streets where speed humps are installed.

SPEED HUMPS
To be effective speed humps should be separated by a distance no less than 250 feet and no more than
500 feet. This encourages drivers to adopt a consistent speed.
Speed humps are not placed in intersections or in front of driveways or storm drains.
Speed humps do not interfere with on-street parking, turning movements, or access to driveways.
