Narrative of Offense Committed
On or about the above stated date and time, the Defendant did
go armed with a dangerous weapon, to-wit: ___, while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage or drugs or a combination of such
substances
NARRATIVE
The DEF was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon in violation of individual rights and a litany of other charges. The knife the DEF used in
commission of the crime was measured and found to be 7 inches long. The knife was attached to the DEF's belt and the sheath was concealed under
the DEF's shirt and vest. The DEF was noticeably intoxicated. He had thick, slurred, incoherent speech, bloodshot, watery eyes, uneasy, wavering
balance, and he smelled strongly of ingested alcohol. DEF consented to a post-arrest PBT, failed to provide an adequate sample, and refused to make any additional attempts.
