Narrative of Offense Committed
On or about the above stated date and time, the Defendant did
commit an assault in violation of individual rights against ___, and ____ used or displayed a dangerous weapon, to-wit: _________________
NARRATIVE
On the above date and time, at the above location, police received a call that the DEF was intoxicated, acting verbally abusive and racist, and was
refusing to leave the lobby. Upon officer arrival, Officer Fuchs located the DEF with a knife. The DEF was arrested and denied assaulting the victim, but
did admit to calling her racial slurs. While I was with the DEF, he repeatedly referred to the victim as a "black bitch". The victim, who is staff at Cross
Park Place, told officers that the DEF became angry with her when she refused to get him fast food. The DEF swung at the victim, who pushed him away, and the DEF withdrew a large knife. The DEF and victim wrestled for the knife until officers arrived, stopping the assault. DEF feared for her life
during the assault. -- DEF has a history of knife attacks based on or related to race.
