This area is well-marked with wayfinding signs with distances in- cluded. Trails wind through wooded ravines and open prairie. In autumn, New England asters attract hundreds of monarch butterflies. The Stables Basin pond attracts wildlife year round, including frogs and migrating birds in the Spring.
