GENERAL NOTES:
1. LOCAL DISCONNECT IS PROVIDED WITH FAN UNIT SEE DRAWING M8
2. SEE CHARTER MACHINE COMPANY DRAWING 770-K-0101 FOR TERMINATIONS.
3. PROVIDE AND INSTALL A MELTRIC PLUG WITH AN AUXILIARY CONTACT PAIR (DSN30
63-34043-972), INLET (DSN30 63-38043-972) AND ACCESSORY HARDWARE (HANDLE
DSN30 61-3A013, BOX DSN30 61-3A053-080-1, CAP DSN30 61-3A426). AUXILIARY
CONTACT SHALL BE CONNECTED TO THE ENABLE BIT OF THE VFD TO SHUT DOWN IF
THE PLUG IS PULLED. RE- ROUTE PRESSURE SWITCH WIRING THROUGH THE
KNOCKOUT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX. COORDINATE WITH OWNER
(SHAUN DALY).
4.POLYMER PUMP VFD’S SHALL BE REPLACED, PROVIDE ALLEN BRADLEY PROWERFLEX
VFD. COORDINATE WITH OWNER FOR VFD MODEL AND OPTIONS.
5. PROVIDE TWO #14 AWG CONDUCTORS FROM THE PRESSURE SWITCH ON THE
POLYMER PUMP TO THE VFD.
6.PROVIDE 20 AMP (EPD) EQUIPMENT PROTECTION DEVICE BREAKER FOR THE HEAT
TRACE CIRCUIT.

4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW MOTOR AND RE-
CONNECT THE FITTING AND WIRING THAT WAS DISCONNECTED DURING
DEMOLITION.
5.PRIOR TO ENERGIZING NEW BELT FILTER PRESS SLUDGE FEED PUMPS,
COORDINATE WITH OWNER AND CONFIRM THE EXISTING VFD'S INSTALLED
IN MCC DG1-1 HAVE BEEN RE-PROGRAMMED TO THE NEW MOTOR DATA.
6. COORDINATE WITH OWNER TO CONFIRM MOTOR ROTATION.
