Agency: United Action for Youth Questions: 1. Income information for beneficiaries does not appear to be listed in the application. Is there income data available for beneficiaries reported? I didn’t see anywhere in the application to provide income demographics, but we do keep that information for our participants. Below is an updated chart based on how the question has been asked in previous years. Area Median Income FY23 FY24 FY25 <30% AMI 258 446 500 <50% AMI 801 1421 1400 <80% AMI 1,434 1442 1400 >80% AMI 400 233 200 2. Is the operating deficit in the budget accurate? That budget was generated right after we learned that our TLP would not be funded at the federal level, so we had to base our budget on the assumption that we would continue programming without any funding. Since that time we have secured funding, including City of Iowa City funding, for that program, so our budget has changed substantially since then. We are still projecting a deficit for the year, but a significantly smaller deficit than in that budget. 3. Are the numbers on the Geographic Location table correct? November 22, 2024 The numbers should be correct, showing approximately 60% of our clients are Iowa City residents. It does appear that the totals are incorrect and are including the duplicated number of Johnson County residents, but that was an automatic calculation in the system.
