Iowa City City Council special formal meeting, held at City Hall - Emma J.
Harvat Hall, 410 E. Washington St., Mayor Teague presiding. Council members
present: Alter, Bergus, Harmsen, Moe, Salih, Weilein. Staff members present:
Fruin, O’Brien, Lehmann, Goers, Grace, Vargas, Seydell Johnson, Davies,
Nagle-Gamm, Rummel.

2.a Public hearing on the proposed property tax levy in the proposed budget
ending June 30, 2026.
A public hearing was held. Finance Director Davies presented a PowerPoint. The
following individuals appeared: Kay Ortscheid, Dennis Ortscheid.
3. Adjourn
Motion to adjourn at 4:07 PM. Moved by Shawn Harmsen, seconded by Megan Alter. Motion Passed. (6 Ayes) Teague absent.
