HomeMy WebLinkAboutFY17 letter November 23, 2015 Dear Applicant, The fiscal year 2016-2017 Community Event Funding application has been posted. You can find the application at: Applications must be received no later than January 8, 2015 in order to be considered. As with last year’s application process, requests must be a minimum of $1,000 in order to be considered by the review committee. For groups requesting any amount below $1,000, the City will accept applications year round for these events or programs until program funding is exhausted. The review committee will make an allocation recommendation to the City Council. Council will make a funding decision as part of the fiscal year 2016-2017 budget process. We want to remind applicants that we are looking to support events that are open to the public, show a need for financial assistance, strengthen community amenities such as downtown or city neighborhoods, or generally add value to the fabric of our community.
