Thank you so much for reaching out about this! With our event location being at Mercer, a lot of our
families live in this area and many do not have the means of transportation. This one of the primary
reasons we chose this location. I don’t anticipate us needing that many parking spots, so I don’t think
that will be an issue!

Good morning,
We received your application yesterday and sent it our for approval from multiple departments.
Parks and Recreation wanted me to let you know that there is a baseball tournament that day also.
There might be an issue with parking especially if all 200 of your participants come at one time. You
could tell people to park in the near neighborhoods.
Jeff Sears with Parks and Recreation thinks it could work.
I did check the next weekend June 6 and there is nothing going on at the ball diamonds then and the
shelter isn’t rented yet.
I just wanted to give you a heads up.
