Jeff said the city isn't reserving shelters until August and that
they are aware of the event.
RaQuishia Harrington is helping to organize the event and she is
aware of the electricity issues at Mercer. We'll have a back-up if
the electricity isn't working.
We won't be serving food, but will be handing out snacks for
families to take with them as they leave. Hopefully this will
minimize trash and help keep kids wearing their masks during
the event. We also plan to bring a few garbage bags & walk
around the park afterward to pick up trash & leftover chalk
pieces.
