I confirmed Friday that the walk will stay on the sidewalks and in the park. We do not want any children
in the streets. I emailed the parks & rec department about reserving Shelter #1 at Mercer park and Jeff
Sears responded that we would be covered from the public assembly permit. Should I still try to reserve
the shelter?
I've noted that electricity might not be available. I have a 9am meeting with the organizers and I'll ask
about the food and trash bins and respond to you. I understand the city's concerns. We are also focused
on making this event as safe as possible for our kids and families during the pandemic.
