The first meeting of the Board of Adjustment was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall at eight P.M. Sam Piercer, Henry Negus, Charles Slavata, Frank Belger and Robert McCollister were present. The oath was administered by the City Clerk, George Dohrer. Sam Piercer was elected pe:,manent chairman and Robert noCo111nter, permanent secretary. Mr. Ne,•us and 14r. Slavata were elected as the Committee on Rules. Rule #1. There will be a regW.ar meeting held at 7:30 P.11. on the second Tuesday of each month in the council ch--f:nber of the city hall. A motiin tea: made to adjourn - carried. Robert W. Mr. Mercer, Mr. Negus, Mr. Chns Slavata, ra a ger And Robert McCollister were present. iir. Braverman's petition iv,.s presented by his Attorney, C. M. Miller. A motion wvas made by Mr. Negus. Be It Resolved that the )rayer of the petition filed with this Board of Appeal by Jos. Braverman be granted and that said petitioner be granted the right to place the dwelling mentioned in said petition as requested therein. The vote: Sam Iieroer - Aye Herry Negus - Aye Chas. Motion carried. Moved by Negus and seconded by Slavata that McCol- lister's resignation as secretary be aocepted. Motion carried. Moved by Belger and seconded by Negus that Kuteher be made permanent secretary. Motion oArried. The matter of the Pott_@ garage came up. It was suggested by Slavata that the board as a whole look the property over before making a decision. 'roved by Negus and seconded by Slavata that the Board adjourn until July 15th at 7 P.M. Absent - McCollister. The matter of the Potts garage was tekn up. Mr. Wilson appearad for Mr. chump and ?ir. Potts for himself. After hearing from both parties it was moved by Belger and seconded by Slavata that the Building Inspector be suetained Ir the issuance of Permit x#76 and the garage be built :recording to permit x#76 and Plat "A". Upon roll call the following vote was cast: Belger - Aye Slavata - Aye Nevus - Aye THermo - Aye As there was no further business the meeting was adjourned. x a n * a a a ef * a s, a * r*** Special Meeting of the Boyd of Adjustment August 3, 1925- A Special Meeting of the Board of Adjustment was called to consider the petition of Mr. Rulikowski to erect and maintain a filling station for the purposeof storing and dispensing gasoline and lubricating oils suitable for automobile and po:zer psr-)osee; the same to be substantially in accordance with the plan herewith submitted and to be of neat architectural appearance and ir: every way suitable and In keeping with the other improvements in the immediate locality where situated. The property herein referred to is described as follows: to -wit; Commencing at the point where the center of Foster Road (Now known as the Red =5311 Road) intersects the south line of Section NO -3 in Townehip 79 north, and Range 6 west of the 5th P.M. running thence northerly along the center line of said road 130feet; thence gest to the center of the stream of the Iowa River; thence southerly along the thread of said stream of said rive- stream until it inter- sects the said south line of section 3; thence east of the place of beginning all of which the said petitioner most respectfully prays. The members present were Belber, McCollister, Slavata, Negus and Mercer. Taft Speedway west of the Red Ball and north of Taft Speedway. He also presented a Signed permission to erect such a station by the owners of property adjoining the location. it was moved by MoCollister that the petition of °r. Mr. Palmer appeared before the Bonrd requesting per- mislib to install a gasoline pump on Court Street between the sidewalk and the curb at the intersection of Court and Muscatine Avenue. It was moved by Negue and seemed by Slavata that in the matter of the Palmer application for a 1p permit to install a gasoline punp between the sidewalk and the curb on Court Street et the interssetion of Court and Muscatine Avenue, it be considered the sense of this board -15 - that they have ho jurisdiction over any part of the street. to Upon roll call the follo,..ving vote was east: Ayes: Belger, McCollister, Slavata, Negus and Mercer. Regular meeting, of the Board of Adjustment was held at the City Hall, Tuesday evening, December 1 4,1926. As there was no quorum present the Board adjourned until r the next regular meeting. Special Meeting of the Board of Adjustment. City Hall Dec. 22, 1926. A special meeting of the Board of Adjustment was held at the City Hall, Wednesday, December 22nd, at eight o'clock, P.M. The Chairman, Mr. Mercer called the meeting to order. Members present were:Sercer, Belger, Slavats. and Negus. Absent: VoCollister. The meetin,- was called for the purpose of hearing Mr. Ring's objection to the erection of an addition to Cdr. Pal- me,r's Hatchery loo�.ted on part of Lot 15-Blook 7 -Rundell Addition according to permit NO -398 that had been issued to Mr. Palmer by the City Insnector. After the objections were heard it was moved by Belger and seconded by Slavata that the Building permit st?nd as issued by the City Inspector. The following resulutionwas introduced by Mr. Kasper: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, R. E. Adams made application to Harold J.
