The City of Iowa City encourages diversity in the appointment to boards and commissions. An application can be completed and submitted on the City of Iowa City website at www.icgov.org. or by contacting the Clerk’s office. Vacancy open until filled. I unfortunately need to resign from HCDC for my last year. My parents have some ongoing health issues that are making it necessary for me to cut back on my other commitments. I wasn’t sure if I should email the entire commission so I wanted to start with you. I’m sorry to resign. I’ve learned so much since I started and the work is valuable but I am concluding my time on several initiatives so that I can assist my parents more. Thank you for all that you have done.
