Narrative of Offense Committed
On or about the above stated date and time,the Defendant did
knowingly provide materially false information to a licensed firearm dealer or private seller of firearms or ammunition with the intent to
deceive the firearms dealer or sdler about the legality of a transfer or a firearm or ammunition

STATE OF IOWA, JOHNSON COUNTY
I,the undersigned,being duly sworn,state that all facts contained in this Complaint and Affidavit,known by me or told to me by other reliable persons form the basis for my
belief that the defendant committed this come

On July 27th.2021,officers with the Iowa City Police Department executed two search warrants at residences associated with the Defendant in
connection to a July 18th,2021 shooting investigation. During this incident,officers located multiple firearms,including firearms purchased by the
Defendant. Officers also located marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the residence of the Defendant. This investigation showed that during the
purchase of four(4)firearms,on April 2nd.2021,May 29th,2021,June 24th,2021 and August 9th,2021,the Defendant provided false information on
ATF 4473 forms,indicating that he was not an unlawful user of an illegal controlled substance in order to be able to purchase firearms from a licensed
dealer. Evidence collected in this investigation,which includes a urine specimen,show That the Defendant was an unlawful user of an illegal controlled
substance during each of these purchases and knowingly indicated he was not.
