Comprehensive Plan Amendment - South District Resolution to amend the South District Plan, a part of Iowa City's Comprehensive Plan, to facilitate development that follows form - based principles. (CPA21-0001) Comment At its September 16 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of this comprehensive plan amendment by a vote of 5-0. Adoption of this resolution will facilitate development that follows form -based principles in the South District of Iowa City. Zoning Code Amendment - Form -Based Zones and Standards Ordinance amending Tale 14, Zoning Code and Title 15, Land Subdivision, to create form -based zones and standards consistent with the South District Plan. (RF721-0005) (First Consideration) Comment At its September 16 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of this zoning code amendment by a vote of 5-0. Adoption of this ordinance will create form -based zones and standards that facilitate development consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. Rochester Avenue Speed Limit Ordinance amending Title 9, entitled "Motor Vehides and Traffic," Chapter 3, entitled "Rules of the Road," Section 6, entitled "Speed 6 Restrictions," Subsection B, entitled "Exceptions," to modify the 35 MPH e speed zone for Rochester Avenue. (First Consideration) Comment An ordinance modifying the extent of the 35 MPH speed zone on Rochester Avenue to relocate its westem terminus to a point approximately 100 feet west of Post Road.
