All job offers are contingent upon the applicant passing medical exams mandated by the Retirement
System and conducted by pension-approved doctors prior to appointment. This exam will include a
drug test.
MMPI
Upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and in conjunction with the required medical exam, candi-
dates will be required to have a valid MMPI-2 (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) interpret-
ed. If a candidate does not have a valid MMPI on file with the ILEA, the candidate will be administered
the test. The interpretation of the MMPI could result in a required follow-up evaluation with a psy-
chologist and/or the rescission of the contingent offer.
