Narrative of Offense Committed
On or about the above stated date and time, the Defendant did
commit a robbery against ___, with the intent to commit a theft, commit one or more of the following acts to assist or further the commission
of the intended theft or the person's escape from the scene thereof with or without the stolen property and purposely inflict or attempt to
inflict serious injury: a. Commit an assault upon another. b. Threaten another with or purposely put another in fear of immediate
serious injury. c. Threaten to commit immediately any forcible felony
NARRATIVE
On the above date and time, the Defendant is captured on video surveillance participating in a robbery at the above location. The Defendant is
observed armed with a pistol along with a co-defendant. The Defendant was wearing a grey sweatshirt which says "NASA" on it. On 1/3/2022, Iowa City Police executed a search warrant at the Defendant's residence and he was wearing the same sweatshirt as on surveillance video during the
robbery. During the investigation, the Defendant was identified by another involved party. The Defendant admitted under Miranda that he was involved
in the robbery. The Defendant would not admit what he did with the firearm he used.
